As an Events Officer, you will…

  • Assist and work closely with the Events director in their role

  • Work closely with Creative Director to align events with LOVE brand

  • Plan, organise and coordinate events (e.g. art exhibitions, galas, mini artist series, social art series etc.)

  • Develop event plans, including programs/run sheets, breakdown of tasks and day-volunteer recruitment

  • Create and manage event budgets within a not-for-profit mindset to ensure income and expenses goals are met for each event

  • Improve event experience and provide creative alternatives to solve problems

  • Work closely with a broad range of professionals in the event planning field (i.e. hospitality representatives, facilities managers and volunteers)

This is what we feel you need to bring your best self to our team:

  • Similar experience from a past role

  • A qualification in a related field  is a big plus, but certainly not everything

  • If you’re innovative and strategic in your thinking, we LOVE that

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, accuracy and the ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with little supervision

  • You shouldn’t shy away from negotiating with various vendors to get the best deals for LOVE (so we can make the biggest impact in Indonesia)

  • Be professional, communicate with excellence in person and over the phone, and show off that interpersonal ability you know you have

And this is what we know you’ll LOVE about working for LOVE:

  • Get exposed to leading corporates, NGOs and other organisations across Australia

  • Drive our journey from a start-up to an established non-profit

  • Work closely with the totally inspiring LOVE Foundation Perth team

  • Build your professional portfolio, support and expose local artists AND make a sustainable, positive change in the lives of many
